TWICE member Jeongyeon is reportedly taking a major step toward expanding her career into acting, as she has held a personal meeting with Varo Entertainment, the agency representing her sister Gong Seungyeon and actor Byeon Wooseok.


The meeting has sparked attention as Jeongyeon continues to prepare for her acting debut, alongside her upcoming appearance in the film 'New Recruit: Haunted Military Hospital', marking her first big-screen role in nearly 10 years.

According to a report from OSEN, Jeongyeon recently met with representatives from Varo  Entertainment to discuss her potential transition into acting activities. A representative from Varo  Entertainment stated that the meeting did take place but clarified that nothing has been confirmed regarding an exclusive contract, keeping details of the discussion cautious.


The meeting is gaining attention due to Jeongyeon’s connection to the agency, as her older sister Gong Seungyeon is also currently under Varo Entertainment.


Upcoming Film ‘New Recruit: Haunted Military Hospital’ Marks Jeongyeon’s Screen Debut

Jeongyeon has already been cast in the upcoming film ‘New Recruit: Haunted Military Hospital’, a big-screen adaptation of the well-received ENA drama 'New Recruit'. This project will mark her first film appearance in 10 years, where she is set to take on the role of a nurse officer, expanding her activities beyond her established career as a singer.


As Jeongyeon begins to show stronger interest in acting, her recent meeting with Varo Entertainment has further fueled speculation about her future direction.
