JYP Entertainment has announced an additional official position on the school violence rumor of GOT7 Youngjae and will take legal action.

JYP said on Oct. 22 through GOT7's official SNS, "As a result of a meeting with the writer of the article about Youngjae, the writer claimed the same content as the article posted online, but failed to provide any evidence that there was school violence to support it."

"We inform you that we will take stern legal action against who are involved in this case and other issues without clear grounds for spreading false information and further rumors," he added.

Earlier on the 20th, an online bulletin board posted an article claiming that he was Youngjae's high school classmate and that he had been victimized by school violence.

The time of school violence claimed by the victim = 2nd to 3rd-year high school students in Mokpo
