Red Velvet's upcoming mini album, Velvet Summer, will be released on August 3 at 6 p.m. KST across major global music platforms. The title track, "Surfin' Boy," is a dance song built around bossa nova guitar, reggae rhythms, and house-inspired sounds. Member Joy wrote the lyrics on her own, telling the story of reminiscing about summers spent with someone special while creating new memories together.
