The horror film 'Salmokji' (directed by Lee Sang-min, produced by The Lamp) has surpassed 1 million viewers amid explosive popularity.
Showbox, which is in charge of investment and distribution for 'Salmokji,' announced on the morning of the 17th that “as of today (the 17th), ‘Salmokji’ has recorded a cumulative audience of 1,018,115.”
'Salmokji' has not only broken even but also reached 1 million admissions on its 10th day since release. This pace of success is the fastest among horror films since 'Metamorphosis' (2019), and it is also drawing attention for surpassing its competitor 'Project Hail Mary' by one day.
