MBC's 'Good Day' has hinted at a major shift.
According to viewership research company Nielsen Korea, the February 16 broadcast of Good Day recorded a household rating of 4.9% in the Seoul metropolitan area. The key 2049 viewership rating, an essential indicator of channel competitiveness and buzz, stood at 3.0%. This allowed Good Day to surpass My Little Old Boy and claim the No.1 spot in its time slot, as well as rank first among all programs—including dramas and variety shows—on Sunday.
The highest-rated moment of the show was the teaser for the gathering of G-Dragon, Kim Soohyun, Jung Haein, Im Siwan, Lee Soohyuk, and Kwanghee, known as 88 Nation. The segment saw the peak viewership rise to 6.2% per minute. As the 88z friends awkwardly dropped formalities and showed off their chemistry, they captivated viewers.
