Singer IU made a meaningful move to mark the 12th anniversary of her debut.

According to her agency EDAM Entertainment, IU donated a total of 100 million won, 50 million won each to the Snails of Love and the Korea Unmarried Mothers' Family Association.

IU has been making steady donations with her fandom Uaena on every anniversary of her debut on Sept. 18. In particular, the donation is drawing attention as it is donated under the name of "IUENA," which combines the names of the fan club UAENA and IU.

IU's good deeds is not happen only on her debut anniversary. Recently, she donated 4,600 ice vests worth 100 million won through the Community Chest of Korea to overcome the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19), and donated more than 300 million won through various organizations this year alone to prevent the spread of Corona 19.
