BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" MV has surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube. This is BLACKPINK's second MV with 1billion views.

According to YG Entertainment on the 2nd, BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" music video, which was released in April last year, surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube around 3 p.m. on the same day. Following the music video of "DDU-DU DDU-DU," BLACKPINK is the only K-pop group to have two 1 billion views of music videos.

"It's been more than a year since the music video was released, but the number of views is increasing faster and faster," the agency said. "This is because interest in existing hit songs has soared together as new songs have been released."

BLACKPINK released "How You Like That" in June and "Ice Cream" last month with pop star Selena Gomez. At the time of the release of "How You Like That," the number of subscribers to BLACKPINK's YouTube channel stood at 37.4 million, but as of that day, it had about 46.5 million subscribers. They recently overtook pop stars Ariana Grande, Eminem and Ed Sheeran to become the third-most-subscribed artists on YouTube.
