YG Entertainment's rookie group "TREASURE" is making remarkable achievements in album sales.

According to Hanteo Chart on the 20th, the initial sales volume of Treasure's debut album "The First Step: Chapter One" released on the 13th recorded 160,614 copies.

"The First Step: Chapter One" reached the top of the real-time chart in just one day in the Hanteo Chart album category on the day of its release, setting the highest record sales among K-pop rookies that debuted this year. With this momentum, the company has secured the top spot on the Hanteo weekly chart (August 10-16) with the total sales volume of four days since its release.

Treasure has already received more than 200,000 pre-orders, and has booked the most initial K-pop rookie record this year. "The First Step: Chapter One" has surpassed 100,000 copies in just two days since preorders began on the 29th of last month, 150,000 copies in four days, and 200,000 copies on the 12th, recording all-time records one after another even before departure.

This is not only the largest number of rookies in YG history, but also the number that stands out among K-pop rookies this year.

YG expected, "In particular, the actual sales figure will continue to increase, as the album has been actively requested to be purchased not only in Korea but also in Japan and China, U.S., Europe, and Southeast Asia."
