In the eighth episode of "Backstreet Rookie," which aired on July 11, Jung Saetbyeol was confessing her sincerity toward Choi Daehyun in front of Yoo Yeonjoo.

The eighth episode of "Backstreet Rookie" continued to top the solid Saturday mini-series and top spot in the same time slot, soaring 9.8 percent (based on Nielsen Korea) in the Seoul metropolitan area and 10.4 percent in viewer ratings per minute.

The 2049 viewer rating, which is an important indicator of advertising officials and leads the talk of the town, also stood at 4.7 percent, breaking its own record.
