MBC "I Live Alone" side said it had no intention of racism in response to the controversy over MAMAMOO Hwasa's outfit.

MBC's "I Live Alone" posted a long statement on its YouTube channel "I Live Alone STUDIO" on the 25th, saying, "We received a bad message about Hwasa's outfit."

The production team said, "We want to make it clear that this outfit comes from the shape of 'Sauna' in Korea, where Hwasa often wears in our programs. We did not intend to comically show the traditional costumes of certain countries," They said.

"Since our program is a comic genre, some of you have expressed concerns that it may comically reflect traditional attire and lead to racial discrimination. But we want to make sure that we don't intend to relate Hwasa's outfit to a particular culture."
