Global group BLACKPINK 'Whistle' MV has surpassed 500million views on YouTube!

Girl group BLACKPINK, which is about to make a comeback, added another music video with more than 500 million views.

YG Entertainment, the agency, said on the same day that the music video for BLACKPINK's "Whistle" has surpassed 500 million views on YouTube around 10 a.m. on the 20th.

This is BLACKPINK's sixth 500 million-view music video following "DDU-DU DDU-DU," "BOOMBAYA," "Kill This Love," "As If It's Your Last" and "Playing With Fire."

"Whistle" is one of the double title tracks of BLACKPINK's debut single "SQUARE ONE" released in August 2016.

It also made its mark on domestic music charts and other overseas charts such as iTunes, announcing the name of BLACKPINK, who was a rookie at the time.

BLACKPINK will make a comeback after a year and two months with its full-length album and single "How You Like That" on June 26th.

The song will be performed for the first time on NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."
