The media reported that the two had been developing their dreams by relying on each other as close brother and sister since they were trainees, but have developed into lovers five years ago and have been dating for a long time.
In addition, the two usually enjoy driving dates, and recently, they went on a couple trip to Jeju Island with their friends.
However, their agency Starship Entertainment denied the report.
"Kihyun and Bona are just seniors and juniors of the same agency," a Starship Entertainment official told The Ideal on the same day. "It is groundless that they have been dating for more than five years or traveled together."
Kihyun debuted in the K-pop scene as a member of MONSTA X in May 2015, and Bona as a member of WJSN in February 2016, continuing her brisk activities. Bona is also working on acting.
